The U.S. House of Representatives has just voted to bar Planned Parenthood health centers from all federal funding for birth control, cancer screenings, HIV testing, and other lifesaving care.

I find it absolutely abhorrent that our elected officials would try to remove funding from such a necessary and outstanding public health resource. Regardless of what your views on abortion might be, Planned Parenthood provides countless other services that I think we can all get behind. Most importantly, Planned Parenthood provides these resources to individuals who otherwise likely go without ANY kind of services. This is bigger than reproductive rights - it’s about social justice. this gets under my skin, it makes me sick. planned parenthood is a wonderful resource for women AND MEN, with no health insurance.
